This 7mm scale ("O" gauge) kit is primarily made from laser cut and etched MDF with 3D printed roof and underframe components. This kit can be completed to represent any one of several versions of a standard type used by the Great Northern Railway.
About this Vehicle:
The GNR had several types of brake van. The brake van type that this model is based on, with vertical planking, was a 20 ton version that replaced earlier vans from the early 1900's onwards. It was given diagram 1602/N. The physical dimensions overall were the same as the earlier vans. A few vans were vacuum fitted in later years. There were two significant variations of this van. .This van would always have had the large "G N" livery until grouping.
